About this event

Join gather virtually on Saturday, August 29th, 2020 at 11am for a 90 minute class for beginners eager to learn faux modern calligraphy with Rachel Jacques of Bright Line Studio! From the comfort of your home we will go over the basics of faux calligraphy before heading into the alphabet and finishing up with phrases and a quote design! An alphabet workbook will be emailed to you before class that includes all the supplies needed, the full alphabet practice sheets, and links to instructional videos you can watch before and after the workshop for continued practice. If you do not have a printer you can use a normal pad of paper and reference the sheets on your computer. This is the perfect new skill for anyone and everyone!

Bright Line Studio is a boutique design and calligraphy studio based in San Francisco. Designer, Rachel, focuses primarily on wedding and event branding, paper goods, and styling. She started calligraphy when she was planning her own wedding. What started as a need for her own wedding quickly turned into her passion and business. For Rachel calligraphy is a way to relax and enjoy creating beautiful keepsakes for herself and others.

This is an online workshop that will take place via Zoom. You will receive an email with a link to the class 1 week before the class.
